ANCIENT GOLD IN THE NORTHWEST OF THE IBERIAN PENINSULA: MINING AND GOLDSMITHING

Gold: its profit, manipulation and social relevance will be the subject of debate around which leading researchers in the field of gold technology in Prehistory and Antiquity will meet in Oviedo.

Between 29 and 31 October, the interested public will be able to learn from them about the latest developments in the field of mining, metallurgy and craftsmanship with precious metals. There will be an opportunity to discuss the most recent lines of study and findings in Asturias and Galicia, with special attention to the archaeological excavations of the Beriso Project promoted by the Valdés-Salas Foundation.
