The Archaeological Museum of Asturias is located in the historic center of Oviedo. Located in the former Benedictine monastery of San Vicente, behind the headboard of the Cathedral and next to the convent of San Pelayo, occupies a site inhabited since the eighth century has been a prominent witness in medieval urban organization of the city.

For people with vision problems, archeology is about thanks to replicas, to enable them to understand the fundamental objects that characterize each historical period and read Braille texts distributed in theaters.

All are subtitled audiovisual, allowing access to them by the hearing impaired.

 

Standards and Recommendations:

It can take photos without flash and video footage of the Museum.

Be brought bags, backpacks or packages not exceeding 40x40 cm.

Umbrellas and sharps must be deposited at the entrance.

No food or drink is allowed inside the museum.

Avoid absolutely manners or behavior that could mean trouble for the rest of the public or risk to the collections.
