TEMPORARY EXHIBITION Terror on the front page. 60 years of terrorism in Spain through the press

Temporary exhibition 'Terror on the front page. 60 years of terrorism in Spain through the press'.

From 5 to 30 October

The Archaeological Museum of Asturias is hosting an exhibition that traces sixty years of terrorism in Spain through front pages and pages of the press, but also through personal objects, weapons and extortion letters, and which aims to put the visitor in the place of the victim.

The exhibition, organised jointly by the Fundación Víctimas del Terrorismo (FVT) and the Centro para la Memoria de las Víctimas del Terrorismo (CMVT), aims to raise awareness of a part of Spain's recent history that young people have not experienced and that many of them are learning about through fiction.

In the sixty years that the exhibition covers, the list of fatal victims has exceeded 1,300, of which 855 are from ETA and 286 from jihadist terrorism, both inside and outside Spain, to which must be added those caused by other terrorist groups such as GRAPO, FRAP, EPOCA, Terra Lliure, the Spanish Basque Battalion or Triple A.
