After Buchenwald ' By Xuan Santori, the Premiu d'Ensayu 'Máximo Fuertes 2018 This essay deals with the life of Vicente GarcÃa Riestra (La Pola Siero, 1925), arrested in France and deported in 1944 by the Gestapo to the Buchenwald concentration camp, where he worked for the Nazi Germany's war industry.Xuan Santori (Uviéu, 1968) is a PhD in Philology from the University of Oviedo. In 2018, Santori was the winner of the XXIII edition of the Premiu 'Máximo Fuertes Acevedo' d'Ensayu awarded by the Regional Ministry of Education and Culture.. |
