 A historical novel that portrays a time as fascinating as unknown. 6,500 years ago, a young man named Ekro embarks on a long journey full of adventures crossing the Mediterranean Sea and becoming a peddler, bearer of news, inventions and great changes. 

Pilar S谩nchez Vicente is a historian, documentalist and writer. She currently works as a librarian at the Jovellanos Library in Gij贸n. Author of numerous articles and essays, she was a scriptwriter and presenter for Televisi贸n Espa帽ola. For her personal and literary career she has received several awards, including the Adolfo Posada, the 8 de Marzo, the Comadre de Oro, and the Tim贸n prize. In Roca she has published La Diosa contra Roma, Mujeres errantes, La Muerte es M铆a and La hija de las mareas. With the latter she was a finalist for the Espartaco Award. Since 2011 the Telecable Hockey Club has established a cultural award that bears his name. 

Orpheus Ediciones Clandestinas has reissued her out-of-print works: Comadres, Gontrodo la hija de la luna, Luci茅rnagas en la memoria and La Diosa contra Roma. This imprint also publishes her series of detective novels by Inspector Oca帽a: Operaci贸n Dracul, Sangre en la Cuenca and La banda del Botox. She has prefaced numerous publications and her literary collaborations in collective works include Palestinas, El tren de la libertad, Doce playas, Fuera de guion, Instant.es, Bibliotecas del mundo and Canallas.
