THE WHITE NIGHT 2023AT THE ARCHAEOLOGICAL MUSEUM

NOCTURNAL VISIT from 20:00 to 01:00

 Oviedo City Council is celebrating a new edition of White Night with many activities such as live music, theatre, artistic proposals, performances, poetry readings, workshops, routes and guided tours. 

 This museum will offer a NIGHT VISIT to its permanent exhibition, a space to let yourself be surprised. Also to its temporary exhibition Come and get to know ASTURIAS! TOURIST GUIDES AND POSTERS IN THE COLLECTION OF THE MUSÉU DEL PUEBLU D'ASTURIES 1899-1987.  Guides, posters, advertising, graphic language... the image of Asturias and the promotion of tourism from the late 19th century to the 1980s.

Both visits are free until full capacity is reached.

In addition, from 8 to 9.30 p.m. there will be a CONCERT of classical music based on the lyric poetry of the early Spanish and Italian Baroque.  With the soprano Raquel Andueza, a voice that has become indispensable in the early music scene, and Jesús Fernández Baena, player of the Viola de Gamba.

 And for those who want to delve into the soul of the Museum, we propose GUIDED TOURS:

•   * Three stellar moments in the history of Asturias.
• * Life between the walls: the archaeological footprint of the first castros (fortified settlements)
