What happened at the end of Prehistory at the mouth of the Sella?

Prehistory is the longest period in the History of Humanity in which profound changes took place that have contributed to the configuration of today's world. One of the crucial moments occurred from the Holocene, the last great climatic change, which led to an improvement in temperatures and major changes in the environment. These transformations also took place at the mouth of the Sella valley, accompanied by changes in food, tools and the type of settlement of prehistoric groups. In this talk we will take a look at the final moments of the Prehistory of the Sella Valley, with special emphasis on the Holocene period up to the appearance of the first metals.

On the occasion of the exhibition The material culture of the caves of Ribadesella in the collections of the Archaeological Museum of Asturias.
