CONFERENCE IN RIBADESELLA AT THE TITO BUSTILLO CAVE ART CENTER

In Ribadesella, on Saturday May 28 at 12:00 at the Tito Bustillo Rock Art Center, the conference will be held:

“Paleolithic material culture. instruments for subsistence and for the transcendent”

by Marco de la Rasilla, professor of prehistory at the University of Oviedo

The Professor Marco de la Rasilla, director of the excavations of the Cueva de El Sidrón and Llonín, will speak to us about the pieces that make up the first exhibition block of the sample From darkness to light, Hunting and Fishing. Expert knowledge of the materials on display, since his doctoral thesis dealt with pieces from the Cantabrian Solutrean, he is also perfectly knowledgeable of Palaeolithic tools and will describe all the most interesting aspects of the pieces in our showcases.

This conference is part of the program of activities carried out on the occasion of the temporary exhibition "From darkness to light".
