This screening is part of the cycle of dialogues between film and painting (I): 24 piceladas per second organized by the Museum of fine arts of Asturias the relationship between film and painting have been a constant since the very beginning of the "seventh art", developing a relationship of back and forth that it has changed over the years.

In this first part of the cycle, entitled 24 strokes per second, will be screened four films that show how some filmmakers have tried to capture on the screen a certain pictorial style not limited to conventions of the setting or go to the technique of the tableau vivant, which mimics the composition of famous canvases, but capturing the essence of the style of painting, adopting the own iconography of the / artists and recreating your forms in a faithful way.
