Presentation of paintings and engravings found recently in the caves of Pruneda and Soterraña (Onís, Asturias).

On 27 February, at 7 pm, in the Archaeological Museum of Asturias, will take place the discovery of a set of pituras and engravings in two caves in the Onís Council. This presentation will be held by José Manuel Abeledo and the Director-General of Asturien heritage, Adolfo Rodríguez Asensio and Alberto Martínez, archaeologist .

This new comes to increase the number of stations with Paleolithic art of Asturias. The cave of Pruneda is prints and painted figures grouped into three panels where you can see a deer in red, several signs and lost strokes; a panel with goats painted in red trace fino - very lost - and another figure of a possible goat with his head turned toward the spine, an unusual iconography in Asturias.
