DOMVS. A ROMAN HOUSE IN THE HILLFORT OF CHAO SAMARTÍN. In the 25th anniversary of archaeological researchs in Grandas de Salime
Lecture series about the times and historical circumstances under Roman rule , they led to the conversion of Castro Chao Samartín in a stable Roman settlement and regional administrative center , probably Ocela civitas capital . Invited speakers, all leading experts in each field, will present issues related to the discovery and excavation of the ruins, pottery, coins or wall paintings and restoration work today enabling display at the exhibition. Besides issues they will be discussed legal and social order from some of the most important regional epigraphic documents of the time. |
