As part of the series of conferences organised around the temporary exhibition Covadonga 722-2022. Las huellas y los relatos (Covadonga 722-2022. Traces and Stories), which can be visited until 9 April.

Its aim is to give an overview of recent archaeology at sites in Asturias and Cantabria, the core area of the Kingdom of Asturias, as well as the figure of Pelayo and the Battle of Cuadonga/Covadonga from the analysis of written sources and to try to offer a vision of the society of the northwest of the peninsula at that time in history.

Every Friday at 12:00 there is a guided tour of the exhibition by its curator, César García de Castro, by prior reservation at the museum or by calling 985208977 during opening hours.
